The Arora Ball

An evening of compassion, community, and giving - where every moment makes a difference.

Celebrating Generosity, Inspiring Change

For over a decade, the Arora Ball has stood as a beacon of philanthropy, bringing together guests, partners, and supporters in a shared mission to make a meaningful difference. Through this prestigious bi-annual event, we have proudly raised significant funds for a range of national charities, including: Caron Keating Foundation, Cancer Research UK, Evelina London Children’s Hospital, The Lily Foundation, UNICEF, Macmillan Cancer Support, Royal Marsden, British Diabetic Association, British Heart Foundation, Thames Hospice, and Save the Children.

Each Ball has been a celebration of compassion and community, with proceeds split between these vital organisations, helping to fund life-saving research, support families in crisis, and improve health outcomes across the UK.

" The Arora Ball is more than an event; it's a celebration of community and generosity. We at the Arora Group are proud to support the Ball and the Foundation, not only because of the incredible causes it funds, but because it reflects mine and my company's values of giving back. At each event, we open our hotel doors and dedicate our staff to make this evening unforgettable, ensuring every detail is perfect, so that together we can raise vital funds and change lives. "

Voices of Impact

"It was a privilege for OakNorth to be the headline sponsor of the 2024 Arora Ball - a vibrant evening of celebration, community, and generosity. The carnival-inspired theme captured the spirit of joy and hope, while the remarkable achievement of raising over £1.5 million for Save the Children and The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity is a powerful reminder of what can be accomplished when people come together with purpose. Supporting this event allows us to move beyond business and invest in something truly meaningful: giving children facing adversity the brighter future they deserve."

"The reason I support The Arora Foundation and their Charity Ball is simple: they have an incredible impact on the community and the lives they touch, their dedication and passion inspire all and, of course, it’s a memorable evening."

"We are proud to support the Arora Ball because it embodies the spirit of compassionate philanthropy that we deeply believe in. The event brings together a community of individuals committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people facing immense challenges. As long-term philanthropists, our mission is to collaborate with like-minded people to amplify the impact of charitable initiatives. The Arora Ball aligns perfectly with this vision, offering a platform to support world-class charities and to celebrate the power of collective generosity. I attend because it’s a rare opportunity to be part of something truly impactful, surrounded by people who care deeply. What I enjoy most is the sense of unity and purpose that fills the room - it’s a celebration of hope, resilience, and generosity."

Looking Ahead: A Broader Impact Through the Arora Foundation

As we enter a new chapter, the Arora Ball and future fundraising events will continue to support national charities through our Large Grant Programme, honouring the legacy of giving that defines this event.

However, we are also expanding our reach. Proceeds from future Balls will now also support the Arora Foundation’s Small Grant Programme, which provides funding to grassroots charities and community organisations located near Arora hotels. These smaller groups often work quietly but powerfully to uplift local communities, and we are proud to stand behind them.

This dual approach ensures that the Arora Ball continues to make a national impact while also nurturing local change, reflecting our commitment to both broad scale philanthropy and community rooted support.
