Who We Fund

The Arora Charitable Foundation is proud to support both national charities and smaller, community-based organisations located near Arora Hotels. Our funding is designed to make a meaningful impact, whether that’s advancing medical research, purchasing vital equipment, or strengthening local initiatives that support communities.

We offer two funding streams

Large Grant Programme

Open to national registered charities seeking support for specific projects, such as medical research, project enhancement, equipment acquisition, or other initiatives with wide-reaching impact.

Small Grant Programme

Designed for smaller charities, community groups, CIO’s. CIC’s or Unincorporated associations operating within a five-mile radius of an Arora Hotel, focused on improving the lives of local residents.

Making your application count

We appreciate the time and effort it takes to apply for funding, and we’re committed to making the process as clear and worthwhile as possible. While our funding rounds are highly competitive, we carefully consider each application on its own merits.

Here are a few common reasons applications may not progress:

Short term impact

If your project is unlikely to continue beyond our funding due to limited volunteer support or financial sustainability, it may not meet our criteria. We’re looking to fund initiatives that create lasting change, not ones that end when the grant does.

Minimal visibility of impact

If our grant would form only a small part of a much larger fundraising target, it can be difficult for us to see the specific, transformational difference our funding would make.

Reapplying too soon

If you’ve received a grant from us within the past 12 months, you’ll need to wait until that grant has closed before applying again.

Not meeting criteria

Please take time to review the eligibility criteria for each fund carefully before applying. This will help ensure your application aligns with our priorities and has the best chance of success.

If your application is unsuccessful, you’re welcome to reapply in a future funding round.
