Looking Back as We Look Ahead to the 2026 Arora Ball.
This week our Trustees had the privilege of visiting the Royal Marsden’s Oak Cancer Centre in Sutton, a project our 2018 Arora Ball helped fund. The Centre brings researchers, clinical teams, and patients together under one roof, accelerating breakthroughs in cancer treatment and transforming lives every day.
We were also proud to see the impact of funds raised at the 2024 Ball, supporting pioneering childhood cancer research and giving young patients access to the most advanced clinical trials available.
From the incredible play therapists who use innovative tools, such as dolls with feeding tubes to character designed radiotherapy masks and to the child‑friendly unit complete with “roadway” corridors, electric cars, and an onsite school - every detail is designed to reduce anxiety and keep childhood alive during treatment.
Dr. Lynley Marshall shared inspiring insights into the research and trials underway, and it was moving to see where our funds are making a real difference.
A moment we’ll never forget is standing before the Celebration Bell, where children ring to mark the end of their treatment.
We are truly honoured to support transformational charities like The Royal Marsden Charity. Stay tuned as we can’t wait to reveal the charity stakeholders for the 2026 Arora Ball and continue this incredible journey of impact together.
